  I walked in and noticed there was no one working at the registers and no customers in the store. I gathered some items in my basket and price-checked one of the items to ensure it was properly discounted. Upon scanning, the item came up at full price, which wasn't a surprise to me. Often, CVS employs deceptive pricing strategies like Walgreens - an item or an entire row will be advertised as discounted but it really is regular price. I figured I would be nice and still purchase the items anyway, ensuring they rung up properly at the register. When I went to check out, there was still no one working at the registers. Assuming someone would be right with me, I waited about five minutes. Finally, I put my items back on the shelves and left the store without purchasing anything. Definitely an interesting business practice operating a store without employees at the register for a timespan of about 15 minutes. I witnessed the same issue at another CVS location. When I left the store without buying anything, the line at the pharmacy was about 8 vehicles long. I assume they gathered all two employees to help out with the (reportedly slow) drive-thru pharmacy. I just found it a little odd to have a store open without any employees. Maybe it's just me, though.
